Based on what I have heard is that high rpm creates rubbing and heating (dulls the tool), but it alone should not cause vibration. I would reduce the feedrate or cutting depth before reducing rpm (not saying that 30k is optimal). Backlash, tool bending, high machine load could also cause vibration.Joerg_123 wrote: Hi Jomule,

The left edge is unsteady. This is the first pass with vibrations. For the future I want to reduce the rpm to avoid vibrations.
You can see the cut out in the middle of the mdf. I think it occurs because of one single vibration.
What I know: In general maximum mms-Speed is good, because this will cool down the mill (Fräser).
Would be nice to hear of your experience, how to mill 16 mm mdf.
