M.1400 ULTIMATE - FOR MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE
Bigger, stronger, faster. The M.1400 is the ultimate powerhouse of the STEPCRAFT M-Series. For this purpose, the M.1400 Ultimate is equipped with powerful features as standard. From high-power motors to ball screws and the Semi Closed Loop System™, the M.1400 Ultimate comes with all the features you need for the ultimate milling experience. With 1213 x 1624 x 646 mm (X, Y, Z), the M.1400 Ultimate boasts a stately size and offers plenty of room for creative ideas. As we take care of the assembly of the CNC machine for you, you receive the M.1400 Ultimate fully assembled as a plug-and-play system and can get started right away.
Standardly equipped with HIWIN® ball screws and 4A Sanyo-Denki stepper motors (X, Y), the M.1400 Ultimate moves at a maximum speed of a whopping 170 mm/s. From wood to aluminum to plastics, you can clamp a wide variety of materials on the aluminum T-slot table to be machined on the CNC router. The Semi Closed Loop System™ ensures that the workpiece is protected by the emergency stop even in the event of a collision or incorrect settings.
HIWIN® BALL SCREWS
HIWIN® ball screws on all axes ensure maximum accuracy and precision and run almost wear-free. The balls roll in an endless loop between the threaded spindle and the nut via the ball recirculating system.
SEMI CLOSED LOOP
The M.1400 Ultimate features step monitoring on all axes. The Semi Closed Loop System™ detects step losses and automatically triggers the emergency stop. This keeps your workpiece protected even in the event of a collision or incorrect settings.
ALUMINUM T-SLOT TABLE
The M.1400 Ultimate is standardly equipped with an Aluminium T-Slot Table. This way, the CNC machine is optimally prepared for working with the lubrication system and other fluids.
IGUS ENERGY CHAINS
Powerful 4A Sanyo Denki NEMA 23 stepper motors are installed on the X and Y axes. Together with the 3A Sanyo Denki NEMA 23 stepper motors on the Z-axis, they powerfully drive the M.1400 Ultimate through a wide variety of materials.

HIGH RIGIDITY X-PROFILE
The solid X-profile of the STEPCRAFT M-Series sets new standards in stability and design of CNC router machines. The intelligent construction ensures high force absorption and the even distribution of forces inside the axis whereby an extreme torsion resistance is obtained. Only by use of aluminum it is possible to create such an exceptionally smart and solid profile design that could never be realized from steel. SEMI CLOSED LOOP SYSTEM™
The gantry of the Y-axis aligns itself automatically after each homing. With the optional Semi Closed Loop System™ you can upgrade your CNC machine to a step monitoring on all CNC axes. If the system detects a deviation from predefined steps, as in case of a collision or false settings, the emergency stop is automatically triggered and. This way your workpiece is protected from potential damage.
BALL BEARING GUIDE
All axes of the STEPCRAFT M-Series feature a high precision guidance. Due to the Bosch Rexroth ball bearing guide made of hardened steel, the CNC machine operates absolutely reliable and next to wear-free at a simultaneous high load capacity. The linear carriages are additionally protected from dust and debris by a special seal.
FLEXI GUIDES
No cable clutter! Each machine of the STEPCRAFT M-Series comes with three Flexi Guides™. The white plastic holders serve to securely guide cables and tubes of tools and accessories.
The Flexi Guides™ can be easily positioned and fastened in the T-slot of the X-axis.
POWERFUL DRIVE
The STEPCRAFT M-Series operates with maximum precision and accuracy and runs low-noise and vibration-free. It is completely up to you whether you wantyour CNC router to work with igus® dryspin threaded lead screw or ball screws. With the stepper motors Nema 23, the CNC machine can powerfully process different materials.

TANGENTIAL KNIFE
If you want to cleanly cut letterings and small contours, the OTK is your first choice. The Oscillating Tangential Knife cuts highly precise and automatically turns into the respective cutting direction. This allows you make leather keychains or cardboard buildings.
3D PRINTER
The 3D Print Head will build up your 3D models layer by layer. You can use the CNC accessory to 3D print spare parts, prototypes and figures from 3D printer filament. The optional Workpiece Fan makes it even possible to 3D print small, pointed geometries.
CNC LASER
When working with the laser, you no longer need to clamp your workpieces. The Laser Engraver operates contactless. Depending on the material you can even use it for small cutting jobs. This way you can use the laser to create engravings, halftoners or puzzles.
