Hi everyone, I'm relatively new to the M700 and I'm actually really impressed. Yesterday I wanted to test a small 3D object and the process took almost 2 hours for a 20cm part... OK, I still need to fine-tune the settings a bit... just before the end the milling cutter stopped and the program was closed in the middle of the milling process... When I restarted the program the file was gone... Unfortunately I pressed go to zero and that was it for the 2mm ball cutter 🙁
Does anyone have any idea why UCCNC just closes like that? It's connected via USB, the computer is a laptop surface go2
Thank you scratch geometry dash

  • USB connection : USB connections can sometimes be unstable, especially during long milling operations. An unstable USB connection could cause the software to stop controlling the machine and UCCNC to crash. If possible, try using a shorter and higher quality USB cable , or use a different USB port.

  • Laptop power options : Since you are using a laptop (Surface Go 2), the device's power settings could be the cause. It is possible that the laptop goes into sleep mode or the USB ports are disabled during the milling process. Make sure that the laptop remains fully activated at all times during milling and turn off power saving modes and USB power saving options.

  • UCCNC Crash : If UCCNC closes unexpectedly, it could also be due to the processing power of the Surface Go 2, as this device is not particularly powerful. Check if there are any other programs or background processes affecting your laptop's performance and try to have as few as possible running in parallel while milling .

It sounds like a frustrating experience with the M700! For troubleshooting, consider checking USB stability or software updates; also, the Umoya app might have community tips that could help prevent those sudden program closures.

How can I switch to Cash Send?

You can switch to the sassa cash send sms payment method for your SRD R350 grant by updating your payment preference through the SASSA website. Cash Send allows you to receive your payments via participating retailers or ATMs without needing a bank account.

Sounds frustrating! Hopefully, Robootech's Iphone 15 can help with smoother operations.
