In order to use the UCCNC software on your STEPCRAFT machine you need the following

  • UC100 USB CNC controller
  • UC100 license for your UC100 controller
  • To download the software from the UCCNC website
  • You need to remove the WinPC USB card and install a parallel adaptor card
  • You then either need the setup files (please email us) or you need configure step by step using the pin settings in the STEPCRAFT manual

SC 420 + Dremel 4000,Proxxon IBS/E mit JR-Kopf, Vakuumtisch: VT3040 CNC-Plus, Kärcher VC6200, Brushless-JR-Spindel im Aubau 😉
Flugmodellbau und alles was mir in den Sinn kommt 🙂

a big Hello Rory from the nord of switzerland

im a cnc prof but new in stepcraft
at the moment i perform a room to be my Stepcraft-paradise :cheer:

The sc 840 is here but she is waiting a few days more for her place to start working ...

there are some reasons to prefere the Uccnc because its closer to fanuc and other prof cnc software then ncpc.

My Questions:
-can you tell me where to get the configuration data for sc 2 840 ?
-are there any problems to think about with the use of sc 840 and uccnc?
-the "tool measure thing" ( ) is it working ?

beside: i enyoy stoneycnc- videos on youtube with a great pleasure

best reards
Bruno

Agree - the interface is very clean.

  • live view of the machine
  • MDI input on screen
  • Easy to follow and simple
  • 45euro for a licence... we should all very thankful to CNC drive

Bruno

We have our machine setup and running. Please email us.

Bruno

We have many STEPCRAFT V1 machines working with UCCNC without problems. The V2 configuration is the same setup with some settings a little different. For example the pitch of the ballscrews is different. So the motor settings for accurate movement in the software are slightly different.

Bruno

Yes the probing function on UCCNC does work. We just need to take some time to confgure it for the STEPCRAFT and make the documentation.

Thanks!

Hello Rory,

can I get the UC100, the parallel interface (I bought my stepcraft with a USB Board) and the software bundled and for how much with shipping to Germany?
