UCNC profile for 210
Someone has a UCCNC profile for 210 usb?
Thanks !
Don`t you have the Stepcraft Screensetinxt.exe file?
You should find it on the CD in the folder Stepcraft and than either in the folder DE or EN. Depending on the language you would like to have on your screen.

I misses something but i do not know what...
Thanks
Fred
That means you didn't buy UCCNC from Stepcraft?
Unfortunately I am not allowed to share the files, I did once a got a "hint" that they are copyright of Stepcraft.

no i just downloaded the demo version for testing it.
Do not know yet if i need mach3 or uccnc...
Anyway i think i need the parrallel card + UC100 for working with uccnc and mach3, am i right?
Fred
I can only tell you for UCCNC: Here you need the parrallel card and the UC100.
For Mach3 you defenitely need the parallel card. I don't know if the UC100 works with Mach3 as well.

Thanks Roy! :cheer:
The UC100 does also work with MACH3, but always if switching between UCCNC and MACH3 a new firmware is loaded automatically in the UC100 interface.
I think, if you have a PC with a real parallel-port and MACH3 a UC100 is not needed but I'm not sure.
With UCCNC you need the UC100!

Hi digiteyezer,
Be aware that the UC100 module does most of the clever part of "motion control", so that the driving PC does not have to carry out all those precisely timed tasks. Windows is totally unsuitable for real time operations, and will struggle to accurately control the accel/decel and running of the 3 (or more) stepper motors.
This is especially true of the latest incarnations (win 10) which tries to be all things to all men. I use a low cost, second hand laptop running Win XP Prof with UCCNC and UC100 - and have never had a glitch attributable to the computer or from switching nearby equipment.

There is no problem, however simple, that cannot be made more complicated by thinking about it.
