I needed to upgrade to 1.2026 from 1.2023 as a prerequisite to installing the 3D probe support. I saved my custom macros and then did the upgrade and selected the S2-600 profile. The diagnostics screen is showing a red state for output pin 17 (O17). Does anyone know what this is for?
S2/600, Industrial HF spindle (StoneyCNC)
DL445, 4th axis, touch probe, 3D probe

There is no need to upgrade an installed version to another. You can always install a new version separately and if you wish copy all macros to the new one. Also don't forget to install your UC100 key. Now you have 2 or more versions available.
The latest version is 1.2029 and available from here: CNCDrive
Have a look to the User manaul page 19. Here PIN 17 is configured for PWM signal for rpm/regulation of the spindle and the signal can be inverted if you want.
