Important UCCNC Install Fact

If this has already been posted, please forgive the duplication, BUT, this cannot be overemphasized:
A normal install of UCCNC (CD-ROM or zip file) will leave the whole directory structure READ ONLY. In other words, no matter how many changes you attempt to make, the software will NOT tell you it is not being saved. This may NOT be true of ALL Windows installations, depending on how your directory structure is protected. My Asus notebook came w/ Windows 8 already installed, and with other programs I have not had problems - just the generic install of UCCNC. Also, If you have specifically directed configuration files to be saved in an unprotected directory, you would not have this problem.
