UCCNC 210 Profile
Hello all,
I just bought the UCCNC package directly from Stepcraft. There are Stepcraft profiles on the installation DVD. But I have a problem with the Z axis parameters. I have a 210 model and it seems that the profile is not good for the Z limits. I think it is the same limits as the other models 1, but the 210 has a different Z limit. I have lowered the Z axis soft limit from 82 to 41. It works better, but some time the Z axis will always abut. I think I have to change the z value in another parameters, but I have not found where (maybe in some macro functions).
Does anybody have a working 210 profile ?

Hi Jack, I see the 210 has a passage height of 95mm, while the next machine, the 300, has a passage height of 115mm.
So I suppose the 210 can't use the same parameters for Z as the 300 or any other machine.
Disable the Software limits, move the Z axis to what you consider is a good low position and copy that value to the (-) Soft Limit field.
Enable again Software Limits and you're done.

Thank you all for your answers.
I know now that Stepcraft has made a change in the SC210-1. The first batch (which I have bought in April during Intermodellbau) had a 40 mm z axle. The actual sc210-1 has 80 mm like the other models. Stepcraft will send me a new z profile and spindle so that I can upgrade my machine to 80mm. That's what I call customer service!
