Lithophane and Backlight

I've been making small lithophanes for a while and decided to make a larger higher resolution version with a backlight.

For the back light I created an edge lit (all 4 sides) acrylic sheet with a frosted surface engraved into it.

Worked very well - although the photograph doesn't really do it justice.

The picture is of my parents in the 1950's
