Wanted to mount my ST16 controller for my Typhoon H hexacopter on a tripod, so I designed a plate with pegs that fits into existing screw recess holes on the back of the controller. I also 3D printed a tripod adapter as I had lost the one that came with it. Am pleased with how it turned out and use it all the time.
Stepcraft S2/600 with HF500 spindle
1/8" 6061 aluminum plate
1/8" carbide end mill
20,000 rpm
0.0625 pass depth
500 feed rate
250 plunge rate
S2/600, Industrial HF spindle (StoneyCNC)
DL445, 4th axis, touch probe, 3D probe
UC100 + UCCNC (Win10)

Very good work, congratulations.
I hope to see it soon mounted on your hex.
(I have tricopter but no time to fly it and GPS problems with apm)
