My support board
I wanted a better way to support my pieces and made this (ignore the holes):
It's a MDF board where I cut some rails forming an "X" so I can catch any piece ranging from 100x100 to 800x600 without problems.
I can post the DXF with machining layers and such. It's for the 840.

Very good! Does it help to stiffen the table?

What do you mean?

I get quite a bit of flex in the table towards the end of machine (in the Z) and wondered if fitting a heavier spoil board would help prevent this.

Ah, I've not checked it sorry.

Hi,
Really like your idea. Was wondering if you would could share the dxf or vcrave files for it?
Thanks
Hassa
@jvalencia I would also love the have the files. this seems like a simple system for the D840. if needed you could still add holes for odd shaped pieces. how thick is the mdf? I bought a 18mm board, but that's a bit thick. I was planning to use the provided clamps to hold it down, but the board is too thick...
