First tests with some basic plotting
This was our first tests of the STEPCRAFT system before the accessories arrived. We used some tape and a pen to get going with some early plotting!

Hello Rory,
I have the cnc pencil from Stepcraft but the settings in winpc are not clear to me. I suppose you must set the cutting depth but how much?

Just enough to have a little pressure on the ball pen refill. I'd guess something like 1-2mm should be fine.

I thought that by myself also. The pen has a spring so no worries. Thanks MagIO2, in German and English haha!

Spring helps you out if the paper is not mounted flat. Post some pics of your results.
Well, the Stepcraft pencil is included with a spring.
