I currently use the following safety protection items when using my Stepcraft 420 desktop cnc machine...
Noise cancelling foam ear buds:
Over glasses eye protection:
Stepcraft 420 (version 1) - HXKJ-GS52-400W Air cooled DC spindle - 445nm Blue Laser diode G2

An absolute must!!!
SC is potentially lethal!
make sure no small-young fingers can get near it either.
I've milled my finger with a 2mm carbide in dremel - don't recommend it!
