Hello,, have a brand new 420 D serie, i run nicely inside,,,, but today, i have a little unheated bike shed,, it was -4 to night, but here today at 1500 it is 2 degrees,,, i understand the steppers are in the 'small' size to hold price down,,, but ffs,,, either Y or X was able to run more then 10cm before it stuck/haltet in movement.. is that ok????

Now i have taken it inside, letting it warm up,, and if it then run flawness, i know it is the cold...

I come back later the the test... 🙂

The STEPCRAFT Grease will cause the axes to bind up in the cold.

Use a low temp grease on the ball screws.
