Frage DA 15 port for fan

Hello,
I want to use a fan on my Stepcraft 420.
Can I use the DA15 port to take 5 or 24 volts to start rhe fan.
Is there a scedule available which port I can use....?

hi,

why you don't have a look into your step-craft user manual? there's a table with all used and unused ports or the servise section of the step-craft home-page?

by the way you need an out-put port for this and not input.
input ports are besides the motor ports the ports to start/stop relais. this is why you can only use no. 1, 14 or 16.

and:

there you only get a signal high or low on 5 V. you don't get a 24 v output and no power output to drive a fan directly . to do this you need a relais between and an external power supply.
