Hi all,

Today I did a 'test cut' on MDF wood - V carving three words Rich & Noo.

The word Rich & came out perfectly but the word Noo did not carve.

The spindle did travel through the profile but did not cut. It looks like I am losing steps on the Z Axis. How can I fix this

Any ideas

Cheers

Rich

What bed are you using. Perhaps to much clamping pressure.

No I don't think its a clamping 'issue' as the spindle did travel and follow the profile but did not lower and cut. So I guess I'm losing steps or its a tuning issue

try checking the g-code if there is a missing commandline for Z-axis height.

I see you use Aspire did the simulation work correct?
