Hi, I face a problem I don't find the solution. Hope this is a simple parameter to change, but witch one ?
When starting work F3 Z axes is going the wrong direction (upward) reaching hard limit and I must stop the job.
It seems coordinates are wrong after initiating the job.
However before everything is ok.

Axes direction are ok (manual move ok).
XYZ and Parking positions ok (moving from one to the other without issue).
The coordinates screen show Z distance correctly (around 9mm, well 0 in XYZ position).
Material thickness ok (6mm). Checked in file editor.

Reading some posts in this category I tried Numlock off without success.
I did not find velocity of z axe in my WinPC-NC.
I did not find a sounding solution to this problem...
Support is on Holidays.

My system was working correctly a few days ago.
I don't have the feeling having changed parameters.
I have the problem with files that were working before and new ones.
I did reinstall WinPC NC without success (but I think some information remains on computer, uninstall does not clea registry ?).
Maybe is there a way to reset parameters to factory-default settings ?

I'm pretty sure many people did experience this. How did you solve this ?
Thanks for your help.

This issue occurs with cn files (that were working before).
I tried with a dxf file defining manually speed and depth and this is working...
Still searching.

Hello Monty,

What type of post processor did you use (.nc) or other?
This looks like the G-code has a wrong Z-direction you can change (check) this on tab setting-Data
check DIN/ISO Z-coordinates reverse

Thanks CNC Miller, my z axe is well inverted. However, bette than nothing I was testing re-inverting to see when I remember the last change I made before facing this problem.
I has set Tool Changing paramter on "go to parking position". By default it's on "no" (nothing). Since I was testing multi-tools jobs I did set paramter to manage mutli tools in WinPC-NC.

Very strange, setting back paramter on no and this is woorking again.
When setting on "Go to parking position" this does not work.

This is a workaround to my problem of Z axes.
This is another pbolem now since I can't manage many tools...

Did you face same problem ?
Is this a known bug ?

Hi Eric,

I have no problems at all with tool changing on parking position.
But I think you have a parameter not checked.

On tab Special check the checkbox with the line (in french) "Activer reprice job"
now the program knows that there is no new job but it has to continue with this one.

After tool change don't forget to set the z-axis zero height correct again.
