Hi,

Could some one give me and advice on how to solve the issue on the video?
I have calibrated my CNC a lot of times, but now I'm having this issue when moving fast.
Between 10% and 70% de Y axis moves ok, but when I increase speed it gets stuck.

When I go from the front of the CNC (near to the RESET button) to the back at 100% it goes well, but not in the reverse order.

Thanks,
Javier

typical problem of a too hard moving Y-axis with too much resistance. You have to re-setup the axis so it is moving easier. To do so move to both ends and losen/tighten all screws on this side. check the four pressure setup screws of the brass rolls. check threaded rod is turning good without bends. Check thread rod's bearings turning easily without backlash. check drive belt tension is not too high. check alignment of portal/distance to end is equal.

When I finish readjusting the Y axis, I will reduce the G00 maximum feed rate from 3,000 mm/min to 2,000 mm/min in the UCCNC settings and take the hit on travel time and impact on the overall cut time to reduce the risk of losing steps solely due to slight tuning issues.

None of my cuts run at more than half maximum rate (1,500 mm/min feed and 375 mm/min plunge on the hardwood cuts) in any case.

Something else you might want to consider as an additional measure.

Hi!

The problem has been solved.
I have loosened a little the screws that hold the pulley against the rod and now is working well at 100% of the speed.

Thanks!
