Got Stepcraft 420 construction kit.
After starting WinPC-Nc Starter software and trying to make "reference" action got "Reference switch active" error (
While manual moving on XYZ directions is ok.
What's wrong?

The wiring of one or more switches are wrong/missing. Check it out.

Everything seems ok.
The wiring is ok, all switches are working...
May be there is some special profile for stepcraft? (Cause two switches use the same wire?)

measure both - the emergency and home switch kable. Both are closed circuit - means electric connected the switch is in operation mode. Open means machine stop. Check and hunt down the flaw.

I've checked them with tester. Works as your described.

It seems that XY motors in jog mode move in opposite directions... :blink:

Test inputoutput signals in winPC-nc - all limit switches act as "Reference XYZ"

Problem solved.
My WinPC-NC software was not tuned for Stepcraft CNC.
Adding Stepcraft profiles from lewetz.de helps

Here is it.
"To perform a new machine selection and default settings
please follow these steps...
1. unpack all files into the existing WinPC-NC folder
2. start WINPCNC.EXE
3. select your connected machine and click to OK
Your computer needs NO connection to internet and all
default settings for selected machine will be activated."
