Hi everyone.
I have added the 4th axis to my machine. I installed the 4th axis PCB and connected the stepper cable.

I'm using WinPC-NC USB version - I procured the full version. However software does not recognize the additional axis. The manual shows a screen where a checkbox for 4th axis is checked. My version of the software does not have this checkbox - it has 4th axis button which is inactive.
When machine is disconnected the button is active - WinPC-NC running in demo mode. However as I mentioned when the machine is connected to the PC the button is no longer active.

Where should I start to troubleshoot - has anyone have this issue?

You can ask Mr. Lewetz.

Software update may help you.
The full version supports the 4. axis.
You have to set checkbox 4. axis as enabled.
After this is done, the manual will show the button.

My software should support that already.
I have the WinPC-NC - see attached.

When I click into Parameters -> Machine -> Machine Parameters; I do not have any checkbox options available.
The button for the 4'th axis is inactive making me think that the axis was not even detected.

Thats the half way.
Using Functions (Button in Winpcnc_2.png) and then activate checkbox 4.Axixs active.
Use "OK" button.
