M.500 and milling aluminium for prototyping.
Hi all.
I'm totally new to CNC'ing, and till now I've been getting all the CNC prototyping work done in China.
They are "what I think" small jobs (ie: 212.00×15.00×146.21 mm and 7075 aluminium).
Do you guys think that the M series is capable for a job like this?
Please note that it is for prototyping, and that I will not be CNC'ing many of them.
Also the time for CNC'ing it does not matter,
Noel
I bought the M700 specifically for aluminium (M500 has the same mechanics).
Remember to get a coolant system (fog buster)
And good tools (Datron, sorotec, HC Maschinentechnik)

Thank you for the info.
So with this "coolant system" system you will also need a "milling bath" or something like that to stop the leaking of cooling fluid?
