First steps towards pcb's
Hi,
Making progress towards milling my first pcb. I had a design already suitable for a trial run and used the free "pcbgcode" software to process an Eagle .brd file. I added a flood groundplane and a copper pour over the rest of the board to minimise milling required.
The resultant files I then imported directly into UCCNC and plotted these out just to see how well the G-code coresponded to the original. I must say the results appear quite impressive, bearing in mind that the drawing ballpoint was relatively large.
This is the original Eagle layout screenshot

There is no problem, however simple, that cannot be made more complicated by thinking about it.
Nice! 🙂
Waiting for the final result.
