LASER DL445 Set-up WIN PC

Hello All,

I am using the stepcraft 840 with the control software WIN PC NC amongst the tools I have the DL445 laser.

About the DL 445 laser I am running into some issues.

I am using the Laser to cut complex gasket materials which is working perfect.
I am uploading the DXF file straight from autocad into WINPC and using the settings provided by the website.
The laser starts cutting the shape, but when it moves further trough the material it does not stop when it goes to the next cutting area. So it leaves marks and “scars” in the material.

Is there a solution so that the laser is only activated when it is on the cutting path?

Secondly, how is it possible to adjust the power during cutting or even before?
