Hello everybody!
Can anyone explain how it is possible to engrave with laser and WinPC-NC program?
Which kind of software do you use?
Does anybody use Aspire or PhotoVCarve and which way?
Thank you!

Hello Stepcraft users,

The big problem is, the laser ND445 only stays on when it is moved.

I have a Stepcraft 2-420 with a Laser DL445 and software WinPC USB V3. When I run Laser Cut Test under Special functions, the laser DL445 works fine. The laser DL445 turns off if it changes position.

But if I load "muster06" then the laser DL445 stays on, this causes the laser to burn diagonal lines everywhere, this should not be done, the laser DN445 has to go out when the position is moved.

How should the Parameters be set?

Can anyone help?

Eddie,

It sems like a problem in the G-code (commands missing to turn laser off).
You can try to mail to Burkhard Lewets He is the author of WinPC-NC.
When I had a problem he helped me out with some issues I had with WinPC.

On the other side if it is third party software who creates te code try to contact that manufacturer

good luck

Hi Alexxfx

might be the movie produced by user UBO helps to understand which config has to be done in your CAM.
In the video ESTLCAM is used. For WinPC-NC the startup delay needs to be G04 Fxxx.
The language is german, but most should be understandable from the video.
Have fun
