New 840 member

Hi, my name is Eric, coming from Belgium (Gembloux) .
I'm glad to participate to this forum sharing experience, tips and support about this nice tool.

I just acquired a 840 : HF Spindle 500, engraving point, woodburner pen, drag knife, waiting for tool length sensor...
I'm active (hobbies) in aero-modeling and wood-games.

I did start cnc experience some years ago cutting foam in my aero-model club. Then I went a few days in a fablab before taking decision to buy my own material (fablab was crowded and machine availability limited)...
I envisage using my StepCraft to build personal aero-models in balsa, create wood-games and decoration items.

My first experience (only ten hours) is interesting but confusing.
Now I can't work because when starting job z axe goes wrong way reaching hard limit (axe being well inverted, direction ok... and this was successful some days ago with same cn files).
I already saw such problem on forum, but didn't find sounding solution yet. I will open a topic if don't find solution shortly (testing velocity and numlock tips).
