New user - mainly for foam cutting

Hello,

I am Bart and I purchased an 840 mainly for cutting foam for tools/equipment.
My company spends a lot of money in custom foams made by a very professional company.
Because our design changes all the time we end up paying way to much for the foams in relationship to the cost of the tools.

Initially we where looking at a lazer cutter but the initial cost of a 80 x 40 cm - 60W system is quite big.
A full system with filtered extraction & water cooling is approx. 10K€.
So we ended up purchasing an 840 to see if we can make it work with the idea to upgrade later to a lazer system.

We also make small mechanical parts which are now outsourced and maybe we can start making them in house once we get a proper training.

I am always interested in exchanging experiences and specially when things go wrong because thats where we can learn from.
