How works the "search" function on this forum?

Hi,

the search function is nerving me. After writing a keyword in the "Search" tab above the forum I'm redirected to a page where one can refine his search.
I see below something "120 results", how to display them?

At the bottom of the page there are just two buttons: "Search" (again?) and "Cancel".

All is quite noisy and complicated, IMO.
