demo of stepcraft 2/420 near Southampton??

HI,

MY friend is a retired master carpenter with some experience of an industrial cnc machine working it not the software and CAD. He is interested in the stepcraft 2/240 cnc machine with UCNCC software. He wants to use it infrequently to manufacture small parts for ship models, dioramas and dolls houses to customise etc for his own use (and my models).

Is there anyone within 100 miles or ideally closer to Southampton who for a beer or two or similar would be happy to give a demo of their machine to him? He has looked at the stepcraft videos and seen a couple of other cnc machines at shows but due to infrequent use planned and cost he would like to see machine in action before buying.
