STEPCRAFT HF-500 Spindle

Hi,

Has anybody tried this spindle? If so, what is your opinion? It seems to be more expensive than the Kress spindles, and like these spindles it has a 43 mm throat. Furthermore it seems to be shorter, which may be an advantage with regard to the z-range.
Any comments?
