Stepcraft calibration: not so round holes
Hi
I have a stepcraft CNC table that i bought about 2 or 3 years ago.
It's used quite well but since this week ik have the problem that it doesn't create round holes anymore.
When i upload the G-code it looks all good, so it's not a software issue.
I already rebuilt my CNC 3 times for maintenance cause time belt slipt or ripped in pieces and now i don't now what causes the problem of it not making round holes. It doesn't get jammed because when i create a square it all works fine.
Anybody got iany idea's to solve this problem?
Or is it time to buy a new CNC machine lol
Hi,
do you've following things are ckecked?
-maybe your spindle nuts are worn out, please check; if true you must replace it. (or adjust; if you've justable spindle nuts)
-if you use PLT datas, then if necessary to use into the "parameter (in WIN-PC-NC): setting 1/40
-if you use estlcam and .din data ,use setting 1/1000
I hope it's helpful in your case.
I wish you all a great day!
