Hello all!
Newbie reporting in with a question.
Couldnt find any topic about it when searching the forum.
Which spindle to choose MM-1000 or HF-500 and why?

Hi Glenn,
Don't know the MM1000 spindle, but if the budget will stretch to the Industrial Grade VFD spindle from StoneyCNC you will not be disappointed. I purchased one when my HF350 gave out on me and am delighted with its performance.
With a seamless interface with the Stepcraft control board and a high quality controller, this will do all that you will need of a spindle except handle an ATC. This is a small penalty to pay for superb performance.
