E-Stop Indication on WinPC NC Starter software
Setup didn't install drivers but found a forum post to solve it.
Now I get the "Realtime USB Interface" dialog box working. But the WINPC NC Starter window indicates the following on the bottom of the starter window: "online";"0"; "E-Stop"; "1:1".
What is this "E-Stop" symbol all about?
I can't find any reference to it on the CD disk or this forum.
Any clues would be much appreciated.

Is the big red e-stop button on your Stepcraft pushed in? Twist to reset and see if it makes a difference.

E-Stop = Emergency Stop, Push Button Switch
It's not only about tools it's also about skills! 😉
Thank you very much -that solved it.

Same problem here. The thing is that I twisted it but still it keeps saying E-Stop. Restarted WinPCNC several times and powered the Stepcraft on/off as well.
Any clues?
Hi,
problem possibly due to one or more of the micro switches pressed, turn off stepcraft (so stepper motors not active) manually turn spindles to move away from micro switches, turn unit back on, this can happen if the 'soft limits' have been turned off, so the movements can activate the mico switches.
