Frage Cannot get LED2 to come on

Searched the forum but could not find an answer. I have finished assembly of my StepCraft 600. Power LED1 comes on. If I connect my laptop and run the software the USB led comes on. But I cannot get the Led2 to come on and the motors lock up.
What I have checked with a ohm meter by disconnecting the wires from the PC.
The Emergency Stop button - open and closes correctly
The X/Z limit switch wire - closed circuit
The Y limit switch wire - closed circuit

What are my next troubleshooting steps?
Should all these be closed circuits, I assume so.
Any help would be much appreciated

check the manual - there is a table of LED status in there- see what that says. Haven't got one handy here so can't check. anyone here have a manual to check?

I checked the manual and the LED should be on for normal operation. They are going to send me a new PC controller board. Hopefully that will take care of it. They confirmed that the limit switches and emergency switch should be a closed circuit for normal operation.
If anyone has any other suggestion I will give them a try.

What you could try is to put simple jumper in the jack for tightening the limit switches on controller board.

I did had a similar issue, managed to determine what you typed regarding closed circuit by using multimeter.

YEs check for the closed circuit with multimeter - or you can short the inputs with a wire to act like a closed switch.
