Hi Guys
can anyone help me out with a XML file for the 840, as it is all wrong from a 600,
need steps , and speed to get the correct milling sides, way to big at the moment.

you will find a post from the author of the software "WinPCNC", in which he explains the current situation concerning wrong mill ways etc. He did attach 2 zip-files, the first one for those who have a running machine but facing problems with way-limits i.e. wrong 600 parameters instead of 800 parameters.

It seems will not work on yours - but I recommend to compare the specific parameters between your old stepcraft-install-file and the new one for the stepcraft machine, maybe you will detect the difference parameters that will make your machine milling correctly.

OK, these files are special editions for the Stepcraft-machines in combination with WinPCNC. I suggest, you download the test-version of WinPCNC, install it in a separate directory or a virtual PC/VHD.

By the way, didn´t you get an install-CD from Stepcraft, containing the basic configuration with WinPCNC-Starter? To open the pcnc-files from zip-files you need an installed version of WinPCNC.

Wobbie - when we get our 840 we will setup all the parameters It seems there are some changes in the way the machine is setup.
